Iowa State Fair 2025 – Fair Sweet Fair. Dr. Tice has worked with the Iowa State Fair Queens for 15+ years. It is truly an hour to be up close and personal with 102 of Iowa’s most gifted young people. Within the time frame of an hour, the queens are taught how to sit and stand, having good posture while balancing a tiara and sash, and walking in a long gown with grace and strength. The heavy hitting topics are table manners, the four tenants of manners and being a good human. All 102 queens were inducted into Etiquette Iowa’s Table Team.
Congratulations to Riah Schrage of Grundy County for being crowned the 2025 Iowa State Fair Queen.
First runner up: Ashlynn Gunnerson of O’Brien County
Second runner up: Annalise Buxton of Union County
Third runner up: Emery Hawkins of Appanoose County
Personality plus winner: Alexandria Kent of Fayette County
Outstanding leadership: Kelsey Greenslade of Dallas County
Iowa State Fair Queen Alumni Award in honor of Julie Wolterman: Emily Foran of Audubon County

Thank you so much for continuing to support the men Of FarmHouse through the etiquette dinner. This is such a formative experience for our new members, as well as the rest of the men in the house. We greatly appreciate you spending your time and effort on the betterment of the men of FarmHouse Fraternity, we all had an amazing time and are thankful for you and your husband's kindness, wisdom, and sincerity.
It was lovely to see you on Tuesday evening. The students enjoyed the class – per usual, you were a hit!
I am so grateful that the etiquette dinner went well... we received lots of compliments! I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with you and learn from you. I will carry these newly learned skills throughout my life! Best wishes in all that you do!
