The President’s Leadership Class (PLC), under President Wendy Wintersteen, Iowa State University, held their Etiquette Dinner on September 24, 2019. Nearly 40 students were introduced to the finer aspects of dining, including placement/use of the napkin, navigating the silverware and conversation with table mates. All students were then inducted into the Table Team and charged with ‘building their table longer’ through leadership activities on campus. Following the dinner, one student (Nick) had to head to the Physics Building to take an 8:00 PM examination. Encouragement was sent with Nick. A special thank you to First Gentleman Robert Waggoner who served as a co-host for the evening. A marvelous time was had by all.
Thank you so much for inviting me to tonight's activity. I learned so much and had a fantastic time talking with the athletes I cheer heartfully for. I will remember tonight forever!
