Ready, Set... Time to Say Please and Thank You Again.

In Spring 2018, Dr. Tice worked with Iowa State University’s College of Engineering. She was tasked with teaching the international engineering students soft and social skills. The 4-part manners lectures ended with a Manners in Motion Dinner on campus. One of the students, in reflecting on the GUMP series, said this: “Professor Jiang provided an opportunity for us to mingle with domestic students, learning western etiquette, especially by attending Patricia Tice’s manners lectures,” said Zhao.
